In this fictional project, we were tasked to choose a contemporary social issue of our choice. Upon choosing a topic, we were tasked to create a set of postal stamps relating to our topic, a first-day stamp along with packaging for our stamps, and an A2 poster to promote our campaign.
For this project, I decided to focus on marine wildlife and how certain species are being endangered due to human activities. In the set of postal stamps that I created, I referenced memes to shed this issue in a satirical light. Similarly, the illustrations were made in a manner that would appeal to a younger audience, effectively raising awareness of marine wildlife.
