In this fictional project Branding and Packaging Project, Knots is a modern-day wedding gift shop offering a wide array of products from day-to-day necessities to bespoke gifts.  The love for harmonising both the old and the new is a key inspiration for the house. Through constant exploration of rhythm and contrast that celebrates the values of traditional weddings, we aim to increase the understanding of deep-rooted Chinese wedding traditions through the use of gifts.
The brand identity for Knots was inspired by circles which can be used to signify unity in marriages. Moreover, to ensure that easy information about such traditions is both easily available and comprehensive, basic shapes were first chosen before branching out to create different brand elements through the use of these shapes.
